Common Questions
If you don't see your question answered here, call 614-224-2003 or use the form above.
How quickly will you respond to my inquiry?
During normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm ET), we typically respond to form submissions within 2 hours. If you call 614-224-2003 directly, you'll usually reach someone immediately or receive a callback within 30 minutes. We don't use an answering service or offshore call center.
Do you serve businesses outside Columbus?
Yes. While our office is in Columbus, we serve businesses across Ohio — Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, Dublin, Westerville, and everywhere in between. We also support multi-location businesses with offices outside Ohio, provided at least one key location is in Ohio.
What does the free assessment involve?
The free assessment is a 20–30 minute conversation (phone or video) where we review your current telecom and IT spend, services, contracts, and performance. After the call, you receive a written summary with specific recommendations. There's no obligation to move forward, and we don't use the assessment as a sales pitch — the goal is to give you actionable information whether or not you become a client.
Is there a minimum contract commitment or company size?
No minimum headcount or revenue. We work with businesses ranging from 5 employees to 500+. Most of our managed clients are in the 15–150 seat range. Contract terms vary by service — many managed IT clients are on 12-month agreements, while telecom services follow carrier contract cycles (typically 24–36 months, though we negotiate hard on your behalf).
Are you vendor-neutral, or do you represent specific carriers?
We're carrier-neutral. Buckeye Telecom has relationships with dozens of carriers and technology vendors, which means we recommend what actually fits your business — not what pays us the highest commission. We'll show you multiple options and explain the tradeoffs honestly.
What's the difference between calling you versus going directly to a carrier?
When you call a carrier, you're talking to a salesperson for that one carrier with one set of products and zero incentive to recommend a competitor. Buckeye Telecom sources from the full market — we can compare AT&T, Spectrum, Lumen, Windstream, and a dozen regional fiber providers side-by-side and present the best option for your specific needs, location, and budget.
